September

Went to my 10 year high school reunion. Class of 99 from South Grand Prairie. It was great to see everyone and catch up with old buddies. I drank a little to much on Friday so on Saturday I did not drink that much. I am so tired of all the rain from this weekend. Along with all the reunion stuff I did this weekend I also had two birthday parties to take my son to. This month is going to be crazy for me. I have another b-day party to take Zander to along with a wedding shower for my co-worker. The following weekend some friends and I are throwing a baby shower for Kelley. No rest for me over the next couple of months. I hope I can get everything ready and done in time.

June

Things have been quite this month. We haven't done much but hang out with friends and see some cool movies like The Hangover which was an awesome movie. I laughed so hard through that whole movie. Father's day went well just hanging out at my brothers house and visiting with family. The cake was a torn up but still a good tasting cake. At this point we are just looking forward to going to Port A and hanging out on the beach with friends.

Zander's 4th Birthday

We had Zander's 4th b-day at Chuck E Cheese this year. We had so much fun. The cake was amazing and Zander loved it. While eating the cake a storm came threw and it looked so bad, but we were all inside so we didn't worry about it much. After the storm cleared we headed back to our place so Zander could open his gifts and the adult could eat some food. Everyone stayed to watch the fight that was on that night which was cool. Zander got so many cool gift this year. I am so glad that my family was there. It was a bad week for my friends most were sick or out of town and Zander just wanted to play with his friends so he didn't mind and the party was fun.

Pub Crawl

April 25th was Dallas annual Crawl for Cancer. This is my 3rd year to be in the pub crawl. We woke up and got ready. Marcus and Monique came over and we all drove over to McKinney Ave. in Dallas to meet our team at our first bar which was Uptown bar and grill. 1:00 the race began. We finished our 4 pitchers or Coors (yuk!!) in about 30 min. and headed to the next bar which was Tribecca. This bar had a roof top we could go up and chill while we drank. Our team was asked to join another group for a game of flip cup. Let's just say the guys played about 4 times and only won once. Then we were off to Liar's Den. Which was pretty cool. Like the other bars we were not there long. The next bar was Madison Ave. There we found another team playing flip cup, but this team was so good. They won every time. We chilled in the back and drank our beers. I was feeling pretty good at this point and then a bird pooped on me. I laughed so hard that I started to cry. One of my friends there said it was good luck (whatever haha). The last bar was The Ginger man. I think this was the coolest bar for chilling and hanging out. we made friends with the event staff and hung out there the longest. After that it was time for the after party and back to Liar's Den we went. I wanted to meet up with my friends who were working the event ( you go girls) so we left and didn't realize that we had to walk about a mile to meet them. That sobered my up a bit. They were nice enough to give us a ride back to Liar's Den. We ended up eating at Chipotle and going home to drink and pass out. It was a great day.

April

Well this month all we have to get ready for is Pub Crawl. I am so excited, but also bummed because my friends who I do the Pub Crawl with every year were not able to sign up this year. This year the Pub Crawl is at McKinney Ave. instead of lower Greenville like the past two years so I wonder if the bars are going to be as cool. We will see. I am also getting ready for my baby's 4th birthday party. Well he is not a baby anymore. He tells me all the time that he is a big boy. We are having his party at Chucky E Cheese's (his choice) and then having family and friends over to our place for BBQ. I am so excited!!!Hopefully by next week I can post pictures from the pub crawl till then see you next month.

March

Well so far the year has not started off to well with some of my friends having loss in their lives. I am truly sorry and I love you. Then my best friend tells me that she is pregnant and that is the most wonderful news I have heard in a while. I am so excited for her and her husband. There is not a whole lot that has changed in my life. Just keep going. Taking care of my family and getting ready for all the upcoming parties. Well that is it for now until next time.

First Blog

Hello there. This is my first blog and I really don't know what I am doing, but I thought this would be a great way for family and friends to keep track of the Grijalva Family. Zander is doing great and getting so big. He is about to turn 4 and we are planning on having a Dinosaurs party. He is crazy about his dinosaurs right now all thanks to The Land Before Time.
